Khatash. Home to the Depik—the galaxy’s deadliest assassins. The jungle is so dangerous, even the Depik don’t set foot there lightly. After the Veetanho seized and occupied the planet, the Depik’s allies rallied to retake the world. Bjorn’s Berserkers were among the liberation force.

After the allies defeated the Veetanho, and the Depik reclaimed their world, the Berserkers stayed on as a garrison. With the contract nearing its end, Bjorn Tovesson III returns to the world for what he hopes is the last time. Unfortunately, it could be just that.

When Bjorn’s shuttle goes down, Charlotte “Whisky” Wicza has to lead a search and rescue team into the wilderness of Khatash. The jungle is full of hostile life… and secrets. Bjorn is not alone. The race is on to find him before something—or someone—else does.
